Part Development Kit available

We proudly present the first release of the Fritzing PDK, the part development toolkit. Dirk has put a lot of work into it to help you create the parts that you need, while assuring the highest Fritzing quality standards.

It contains a few scripts, the most powerful of which lets you create any DIL-packaged IC with one simple command. Furthermore it contains all the artwork for the core part library as nicely layered SVG files (compatible with Inkscape, Illustrator etc.), so that you can make your parts in the proper Fritzing style.

Please consider sending your self-created parts to us, for inclusion in the next release!
