Sorry if i'm sounding irrelevant here but I thought it would be great if there is a duplicating function like in illustrator and also shortcut keys. I find the way that the click and drag method to connect things are not so efficient, for me a more efficient way would be clicking between points with a toggle on function, button to activate it. But I am really excited about this program and what it has to offer!

Hi Bin,

not irrelevant at all! There are obviously many things at the moment that don't work as nicely as the should (or as we learned to like them from Adobe). These are mostly the default behaviours which we get for free from building on top of other people's libraries. We are intending to make them smoother, but they might not be top priority yet. Let's see for your suggestions:

Duplication: You mean copy & paste? That's available in the UI under "Edit" and also with Ctr+Click+Drag, but it's horribly broken and needs to be fixed.

Shortcut Keys: Available too, see Help > Key Assist. A few helpful ones: Ctrl+Z for undoing, Ctrl+- and Ctrl+= for zooming, F2 for renaming. And you can change them in the preferences, too. However, we still need to add some shortcuts for switching between tools, etc.

Making connections: I agree that the click+drag is not nice. We are thinking of doing it similar to Max/MSP, where you click on a terminal to start a wire, click somewhere else to make bendpoints and finally click on another terminal to finish the wire. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by a "toggle on function, button", though -- could you elaborate on this?

Thanks for your feedback,
