It's hard to tell which hole a wire connects to
Up to GUI Design
Right now, it's a bit difficult to tell which hole a wire is in, especially in the exported images. The green highlights help, of course, but because the wires are rather thick, they can cover up some of the adjacent holes, making it harder to tell which hole it is that's highlighted (e.g. if it's the third one or the fourth one in the header). If the wires tapered near the ends (or were maybe just thinner in general), it would be easier to tell which holes they were in. Also, maybe the green highlights should be slightly smaller? If you've got components connected to adjacent holes, their green highlights overlap.
Yes, that's true, and I must admit that we haven't paid much attention to the details here yet. The green highlight is more of a temporary compromise. We are already experimenting with thin copper wire ends. Another idea is to draw the holes differently when a wire is connected to them, e.g., in the shape of a volcano instead of a valley.
I added this as issue 100 to the tracker.
